MeguminExplosion • 1 year ago

Goblin slayer out here killing the klondike right hand woman like...she's a goblin

vovan1 • 1 year ago

maybe they wanted to confirm goblin slayer S2 instead?

Deus The Great • 1 year ago

And Mononogatari! These underated anime deserve it!!

kanra • 1 year ago

yeah both high card and mononogatari is the hidden gems of this season

Billy Bob • 1 year ago

guess i'll start watching from ep 2 lol

Carl • 1 year ago

so happy that you confirmed that a 2nd season has been confirmed

Uncle Karma • 1 year ago

Oh hell yeah Season 2 confirmed.

Love-P has to be the most goofy character I've seen in this anime and that says alot, the way she fell after getting knocked out will never not be funny to me.

MeguminExplosion • 1 year ago

complete a** pull fight. Finn couldnt touch telekinesis girl with his high card. But then some detective easily takes them out using the same method a gun.

quinten • 1 year ago

Knowing how to use a gun and using a gun is different, like he obviously wanted to distract one so the other could kill and then bonked the last one unconscious. And who knows maybe he has a card himself like a consequence card that lets you see a bit into the future?

King Rotti • 1 year ago

Kind of agree. Gotta blame the plot armor though since her ability is pretty much OP, she could have literally flinged those guns toward her or bent them, possibly even stopped the bullets depending on the limits of her ability. Hell, she could have just killed them instead of using objects since in another episode she literally simultaneously strangled the police girl and made Finn point his gun at her lol

Uncle Karma • 1 year ago

Well the gun was more of a distraction since she did block it. Love-p only could have slashed her because of that.

I actually love her she's my second fav after the mc

Paradise SLU • 1 year ago

Nice shot Finn.

8.8 was really good.

vovan1 • 1 year ago

funny how it could not have ended any other way :D
I predicted he shoots the cards, but since they are indestructible, they had to do an Ace-pull

i leave with 6/10, and hope cards will be more balanced or nerfed next Season.^^

Paradise SLU • 1 year ago

Vovan1 okay hopefully it gets a 2nd season.

I hope our main character gets more powerful but it's badass how he did all of that with the one of the weakest cards, absolute chad

Nan Demo K(Nai)ves • 1 year ago

I was not expecting this to get a second season but I guess they still have lots left to tell of the story.

I was surprised Chelsea still had her card, I thought Chris had taken it with him but I guess not.

It was nice to see Love-P one last time, she was having a lot of fun lol. The way Detective Young shut Love-P was so funny, poor Wendy facing the repercussions of Love-P's wild adventure.

I'm surprised Bernard was actually helping them out, this whole time I thought there was more to him so I thought he'd prevent Finn getting to Chris, or would reveal Chris' location to Theodore but he really helped them out. I am not surprised by the happy ending of Chris and Michel being relatively well but I was still glad Chris survived in the end.

Leo Aestron • 1 year ago

She will gives it to them one day after she felt like it or when they need it from her.

Or... she can just join High Card :D

Archie Andrew's 1000 • 1 year ago

Noah WC mention there was gonna be a S2.
I guess you didn't see the reply in Grace by the Gods S2 last ep.

Paradise SLU • 1 year ago

Archie they uploaded Vinland Saga if you have time come over.

Archie Andrew's 1000 • 1 year ago

Oh I will ^^

Paradise SLU • 1 year ago

Okay.

xolitaire • 1 year ago

The fact that Chelsea showed up in the last episode was surprising to me too and the fact that Chris never asked for her card confused me even more. That way he would have had 5 cards and could have activated Calories High first and then use the other 4 for the x-hand. I mean his entire theme is cheating death, so using his card to counteract the damage from the x-hand seems like a good idea?

Finn • 1 year ago

i enjoyed the first season but i feel like this season only purpose is to introduce viewers to the characters and their card ability plus the bad guys, etc... the exciting part would be in s2, i can't wait!!!

Typecero • 1 year ago

And by that point you will have forgotten the characters and their abilities.

idk • 1 year ago

yeah seems like a big gamble to make the first season 1 cur im so glad its getting a s2 because just as you said this seems like the intro and the real action is about to start

Wayne Chinkokway • 1 year ago

Never no dollars is sucha waste of money lol

xolitaire • 1 year ago

The embarassment on Leo's face when he ran out of money was hilarious though (I mean what did he expect, that road in the sky looked like it was made out of gold bars wtf XD)

GreenTea Gal • 1 year ago

#overdraftfees yea a normal bridge or elevated road would make sense, even a rollercoaster track, who drives on pure gold ??

vovan1 • 1 year ago

yeah, he should've used slimmer and more cost efficient design.

Düölingöhhh Snorlax • 1 year ago

So true. It‘s just for 2 cars after all :/

Robert • 3 months ago

Daisuke Kanbe: “balance: unlimited”

average american infrastructure prices 🤣

Leo Aestron • 1 year ago

The same as that one from Bungou Stray Dogs, but that's exactly what made it powerful.
As long as you are rich, it is a powerful card to you.

But, this one has a weakness compared to the one from Bungou Stray Dogs, you need money around you to use it. But, the one from Bungou Stray Dogs, do not need any money around you, you just need to have anything counted as your possession [Not only your money in bank, it can include house, furnitures, jewelry, etc even your clothing too]. That's what made it a superior version.

But, the inferior version isn't weak despited nerfed for that part.

Eris • 1 year ago

can't wait for s2

Judgment526 • 1 year ago

Nice shot. 0.0

Looking forward to S2.

Archie Andrew's 1000 • 1 year ago

kurdbubbles • 1 year ago

This is one heck of a episode 8.3/10

Mike • 1 year ago

That old detective guy i spit my drink out when he shot those 2 bullets i was rolling. That ending scene with finn jumping out of the car in mid air shooting that pistol was dope and great Now Goblin Slayer has entered the fray lol

Paradise SLU • 1 year ago

Great escape.

GreenTea Gal • 1 year ago

🥰 good season finale, glad immortal bae pulled thru

poorguy • 1 year ago

This anime was so much random

Vlad • 1 year ago

I'm pretty sure that I've seen about three other anime that are as random as this one, but, it's defintiely high up there...

vovan1 • 1 year ago

i see what you did there xD

Paradise SLU • 1 year ago

Outnumbered and outgunned great way to start the episode.

High Card [Royalty faction]
Klondike Family [Noble/Mafia faction]

High Card faction obeys the King's order and it seems the King intended for the cards to be gathered back all again for a reason. Still don't know who is that girl from episode 1 who cried after the cards were stolen. But, from what I can understand is, the King kept those cards under protection in honor of the knights of the past and the girl is related to them.

Meanwhile, we have...
Klondike Family: Power is meant to be used. "The King is a fool, what a waste to keep the cards around when you don't even use it." Ban Klondike believed that these cards shall fall into the hand of people who will actually use it in a way they want [be it legal or illegal].

Personally, I would prefer to support the High Card. Klondike Family's thought is not totally wrong, but it can cause chaos and uproar if falls into the wrong hand. Besides, I still don't trust Klondike Family or whatever kind of game they intended to play.
Neverthless, an interesting faction that made this story possible.

xolitaire • 1 year ago

Neither faction seems entirely trustworthy, but at least High Card doesn't kill it's members off on a whim like Ban Klondike does. As far as we know...

Leo Aestron • 1 year ago

I don't think that Dark Knight is actually loyal to Ban Klondike.
Just like in episode 1, that bombardier girl, she isn't in Klondike Family because she wants to follow Ban Klondike. She's there for someone who she cared about.
Most of them joined Klondike Family isn't for loyalty, but for power or their own ideal I think.

Meanwhile, High Card is similar to Intelligent Agency. When you betray or no longer needed and known too much, you get assassinated like most spy agency would do.

Paradise SLU • 1 year ago

Nice episode.
